Prayer Request
For anyone who happens to read this, my sister is going in for by-pass surgery tomorrow (Monday, January 14th) in the afternoon. Actual start time will depend on how long the surgeries scheduled ahead of her take. She had a stint put in just under two years ago, but this blockage is in a location where they did not think a stint would work. It is a single by-pass.

The surgery went well. It was a single by-pass and they were able to use a vein from the chest wall. She went back about 2:30-3:00 and was out by about 7:00. We (my brothers and I) got to go back and see her. She opened her eyes, recognized we were there, and was able to move her head.
She still had the tube in her throat but they are gradually lowering the assist to her breathing. Sometime tonight the tube should be removed. She'll probably be back in the Coronary ICU through tomorrow, and then in a recovery coronary care unit until she is released. Thanks to anyone who prayed.
